Spain look almost certain to travel to Brazil to defend the FIFA Futsal World Cup later this year after a 9-1 win against Bosnia-Herzegovina in the first leg of their European play-off but Ukraine will only have a 3-1 lead to defend in Hungary.
Kike hat-trick
The world and European champions never looked in trouble in Toledo after Kike gave them a fifth-minute lead. Borja added to the scoreline three minutes later and before the break Marcelo and Andreu had found the target. Kike struck twice more in the opening nine minutes of the second half and Ortiz made it seven before Vladimir Vladisavljević pulled one back. However, Álvaro and Javi Álvaro then struck to make the return on 12 April all but a formality.

FK Modriča have made a miserable start to 2008 in Bosnia-Herzegovina with three straight defeats leaving them vulnerable at the top of the Premijer Liga table.
Wilting form
Four points ahead at the winter break, it is only the fluctuating form of their rivals that has allowed Slaviša Blažević's men to hold on to pole position after a woeful start to their spring campaign. They lost 3-1 at NK Čelik, 1-0 at home against champions FK Sarajevo and then showcased their malaise with a 4-0 defeat at NK Orašje which has helped throw the title race wide open again.

Bosnia-Herzegovina coach Fuad Muzurović has been dismissed after a year in charge of the national team.
Losing streak
The Football Federation of Bosnia & Herzegovina decided to part company with Muzurović, 62, following a run of five defeats in as many matches at the end of UEFA EURO 2008™ qualification.
Second spell
The coach, who had started his second spell at the Bosnia-Herzegovina helm last December and initially oversaw wins against Norway, Turkey and Malta, could then do nothing to prevent the slump. His side finished fourth in qualifying Group C. Muzurović had previously occupied the hot seat between 1992 and 1997.

SZEKESFEHERVAR, Hungary - A Zoltan Gera penalty gave Hungary a deserved 1-0 victory over a disappointing Bosnia side in their Euro 2008 Group C qualifier on Saturday.
Midfielder Gera converted from the spot in the 39th minute after striker Robert Feczesin was felled in the area.
The visitors, still in the race to qualify, looked a shadow of the team who have beaten Norway away and Turkey at home. They came closest three minutes from the end but forward Zlatan Muslimovic missed the target from close range.
