ImageThe best player in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, late Mirza Delibasic will be a candidate for Springsfield`s Hall of Fame. Namely, FIBA has sent a request to Bosnia and Herzegovina Basketball Association to submit its candidate for this prestigous institution. In two days, Basketball Association of BiH with expected support from Real Madrid shall submit Mirza Delibasic`s candidacy for the induction into the Hall of Fame, class of 2007.

Mirza Delibasic has won all there was to win during his career. European Cup of Champions (i.e. Euroleague) with Bosna in 1979, World championship with national team in 1978, Olympic gold in 1980, three European championships, several national championships and Cups. During his career he played for Sloboda Tuzla, Bosna Sarajevo and Real Madrid. Mirza Delibasic was voted the best sportsman in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 20th century.
